Biography

Dr. Jeremiah Palmer is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy and also treats general orthopedic conditions for adults and children. A native Hoosier born and raised in Indianapolis, Dr. Palmer graduated from DePauw University and obtained his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the University of Maryland Medical Center / R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD and then went on to advanced sports medicine and arthroscopy training with a fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital.

Through his extensive training and work experience, Dr. Palmer has had the opportunity to care for and treat athletes at every level of competition from recreational athletes to professionals. He helped take care of college athletes at DePauw University, University of Maryland, and Rice University. In Houston, he was also part of the medical team caring for the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, Houston Texans, and the NASA Astronaut Corps at Johnson Space Center. Currently, he is a team physician for Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, and Northview High School.
