Volunteer

Volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds; they share a common desire to help others.  Volunteers are women and men of all ages:  teens, college students, housewives, working people, retirees, those who are busy, and those who are not so busy - people just like you - they are making their spare time special by volunteering.

Union Health is proud and blessed to have a special group of men, women, and teens who generously give of their time, knowledge, and skills by volunteering.  Our volunteers assist and greet patients and their families at all information desks, family waiting rooms, Critical Care Unit, Cardiac Cath Lab, Hux Cancer Center, Clara Fairbanks Center for Women, NICU/Peds as a cuddler, and other designated locations.

The Chaplain’s Office utilizes lay volunteers as room visitors on Monday – Friday in the morning and have volunteers that act as a liaison among families, staff, and patients in ICU.

If you are interested in joining our team to provide exceptional patient support, please click here to fill out an application.
