Union Hospital Service League

Union Health also has the opportunity for volunteers to become members of the Service League of Union Hospital. Members of the Service League help Union Hospital patients, families, and the staff by providing fundraising activities and events. All proceeds from these events are donated to Union hospital for designated projects or equipment. Service League is proud to sponsor Wishlist Grants to support hospital needs and the Margaret Carroll Scholarship for higher education needs of Union Hospital employees’ children.

The Service League of Union Hospital is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1953. The Service League opened the West Gift Shop in March of 1954. The East Gift Shop was added in January 2010. All profits from these Gift Shops stay within Union Hospital to fund designated projects or equipment for Union Hospital.

One of the Service League’s many projects is creating puppy pillows to comfort Union’s youngest patients. The Service League is always accepting donations of materials to make puppy and bunny pillows.  Donations are always welcome. If you would be interested in donating fabric, please donate cotton fabric (either small print or solid colors) and all-purpose thread (white or ecru). Please drop donations at Union Hospital Volunteer Services.
