Biography

Dr. Stephen Fern is a native of West Terre Haute, having completed training in Virginia and Massachusetts in orthopedic surgery with fellowship training in Orthopedic oncology through the Harvard Combined Program. He and his family returned to the Wabash Valley in 2010 and is currently practicing with the Union Medical Group team located at the Bone & Joint Center.

He is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a special passion for orthopedic oncologic procedures and adult reconstruction. Dr. Fern is on the clinical faculty at the Indiana University School of Medicine and enjoys educating both students and residents in the latest orthopedic diagnostics and surgical techniques.
