Next up, Matt Pape, RN, Union Hospital ICU was the first member of the Union Health nursing staff to receive the vaccine.

Then, Dr. Jacqueline Holder – Union Medical Group Medical Director, received her vaccination.

The Union Hospital site has had well over 800 people on the schedule.

"The amount of clinicians and others we've had register early in the process is exciting. Overwhelmingly, our frontline heroes want this vaccine. After battling this pandemic for months, the vaccine provides perhaps the best tool we've had to date to bring us closer to the place we all want to be," said Marc Keilman, System Director of Quality & Infection Control for Union Health.

Coverage for our area will include Vigo, Vermillion, Parke, Sullivan, and Clay counties. Registrations have been made from each of these counties.
